Just a cheap thing to transfer data from Desktop to Notebook.

This is to make my old 60GB HD external. Good for backing up important work I guess. . . besides I don't want the 60GB to become useless..

I also will be getting a Samsung 22" monitor in the future.

oh I almost forgot. I will be getting this backpack for school/travailing

what do you need the network card for? the tinkpad already has wlan!?

and instead of the 3.5" hdd case you could just buy an ethernet-cable if you want to transfer data between your pc and your notebook. makes way more sense!

Agreed about the Buffalo card. Not needed. (Unless you really wanted that external antenna connection)

I ordered the HD, and two external cases yesterday. I left the network card out.

    and @Sw00p

I never thought about doing it over ethernet but w/e it's only $16
