    My T61 shipped! However, Lenovo Critical List is BS! READ TO FIND OUT WHY!

    Hey everyone,

    Long story short I placed 2 T61 orders with Lenovo with the EXACT SAME SPECS:

    Order 1: "Meyers" EPP + TailorMade + Fatwallet Order
    Placed: 5/23
    Original ETA Ship Date: 6/11
    New ETA Ship Date: 8/2
    CS Rep ETA Ship Date: (by) 6/26

    Order 2: SPP +10% Coupon + TailorMade + Fatwallet Order
    Placed: 6/7
    Original ETA Ship Date: 6/26
    SHIPPED TODAY: 6/13!

    I'm sure many are starting to figure this out already based on others getting their orders quickly even though they JUST placed orders, however I think the fact I placed 2 orders for the EXACT SAME system and accessories "Officially" shows there was no priority given to the system placed first. Since both systems were exactly the same system to a "T"... the parts excuse is BS as well. What a truly screwed up process.

    Needless to say, my original order from 5/23 is STILL "In Process". I plan on letting my rep having another piece of my mind tomorrow... like it will even do anything.

    Just thought Id update everyone and throw in my current experiences.

    I'm under the understanding that the Meyer deal is still being looked at, because that wasn't supposed to be available to non-Levono employees. Rumors have stated the orders would go though, other rumors state the orders will be canceled.

    It's highly likely that the "Meyer's deal" computers will either never ship, or when the reorders are placed, the price will change to reflect the illegal discount's removal. Honestly, it's hard to justify getting upset with them for not allowing you to cheat them.

    Sorry mods, Meyer has nothing to do with it. Multiple people on this forum who purchased Thinkpads w/ Meyer have already received their laptops, not to mention, many of us whose Meyer-discounted laptops haven't shipped have had ours successfully rebooked with the missing parts. If Meyer was a problem, they would've red-flagged/canceled our orders during the rebooking process.
