I have been using it for nearly two years.

When it is placed on a flat surface, it is usually silent.

However, if the surface is not flat (for example, use it in bed or hold it when moving to another conference room), I often hear obvious continuous sound: "ke ta ke ta ke ta..."

Anybody out there has a clue about this situation?

    All the best.

You mean the left-side small container close to me? It is empty. I dont recall any purchase of it about two years ago.

    Thanks!

The sound is from midd- to upper-left area. It is definately from the left side.

this is most likely your fan. Switch the laptop on, then move the laptop, can you hear any screeching sound from the fan?

I can hear a little screening sound when moving close to the lap's mid-to-upper-left area. I can feel something spinning there.

This is my primary work machine and I use it almost about 13 hours each day.

If it is the fan problem, easy to fix? Any tip or advice?

    Thanks!

do you have warranty? it may just a need simple cleaning, which can be done relatively easily, by opening up the laptop (remove the palmrest and keyboard), then clean out the fan, then use some compressed air to clean out the area, or use a Q-tip if you don't have compressed air.
