Good luck with that. Just talked to a sales rep, who told me that all orders are delayed further into Mid-October, due to the world wide battery shortage.

I'm pretty sure MS would just cancel the cashback, as the order obviously hasn't been charged. Who knows though.

I was just told mine has been delayed until October 6th and they have no clue at this point when the first U330's will ship. They stated that any date given, is relatively meaningless as the server automatically revises the shipping date according to the estimated ship date on the website.

The only thing keeping me from canceling my order is that there isn't a laptop out there that has all these features in one package and of course the price. However if a deal does pop up on a close competitor I'll jump ship.

I don't like Lenovo's business practice of selling a laptop with false shipping information. Delay or not currently the website states one to two weeks and this is far from the truth.

Wasn't an option for me, as I don't want to even deal with the Nvidia card issue.

So, if Lenovo does miss the shipping date, what then..?

Has anyone had any success in demanding free upgrades/discounts/expedited shipping, etc? Seems like they would have some incentive to keep you from canceling the order.

Man it would be worth a shot.
I say give us an extra battery :p that would go over well with the lack of them.
