Could anyone help. My z60m shuts down by itself. On second it will be working fine, then the next its off. I cannot restart it unless I disconnect the battery and re-install it. My battery wasn't part of the battery issue they had. Also the motherboard has been replaced, because IBM thought that might be it. But now I'm stuck in, IBM blaming Windows and Microsoft putting the blame on IBM. Thanks any help would be appreciated

It could be adware/spyware/malware. Try doing some scans with your spyware scanners and antivirus.

Does it do anykind of shutdown? Or does it just go dead?

It just goes dead. Very abruptly. I cannot restart it unless I remove the battery and plug it back in. Then I can reboot it.

the mother board has been replaced.

Is it possible that your power adapter is bad?
