    My battery stays at 100% life even though its set to recharge at 90%

    i set it to fully charge at 100% then recharge when it hits 90% so it doesnt stay at 100% the whole time its plugged in... but its constantly staying at 100% charge? maybe somethings wrong with the software and i should reinstall it?

    have you ever let it run down to 10% or so

    with the newer Lith Ion batteries, they need to be run down about every 30 days or so to show the correct charge. But it doesn't hurt to leave them plugged in and they don't have a memory......

    Let the battery run down till there is no juice. Then try charging it up without bothering it to see the results.

    As nobscot6 said some do need to run down all the way but others last longer when you have it in a charge cycle.

    is that article recommending to maximum charge the battery at 40%?

    the charge cycle is not in effect because i think the software isnt allowing it
