This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    thanks to the advice of people here, i bought a 14.1" T60 a few weeks ago (model: 2007-6QU). Well, it has just been awesome. I added another gig of ram and bought a 6-cell battery (in addition to the 9-cell it came with). THe 9-cell is incredible, lasting hours. The computer is blazing fast, and has no problem playing HD Movies on my 42" 1080p Samsung HDTV simply through the VGA out. I am so satisfied.

    Anyways. Ill try to write a formal review, but that might take a while :p .
