    Hey guys, don't mean to rub it in, but my order just shipped today. I ordered it on 5/24 using the memorial day discount. In case you were wondering, my configuration is as follows:
    T7300 processor, 14.2 inch screen with camera, integrated graphics, 120gb hard drive, biometric reader,turbo memory.

    So if you're configuration is similar to what I have, expect yours soon!

    Congrats, I just love the T61. Great choise on the hardware, although I would choose for the 160 GB hard drive because that one is prependicular.

    haha i'm really sorry to burst your bubble...but that doesn't mean a whole lot. i've had at least 3 people report on receiving a notebook that they had ordered on the same day as me, with the exact same configuration.

    it blows.

    I originally made the order over the phone, the specs were identical but without the turbo memory. Unfortunately, I got disconnected so the gentleman emailed me his sales id and the order number(at this point it was not paid for yet)

    So I went ahead, modified the order with the turbo memory(heck it was only 30 bucks or so at the time) and submitted it. In terms of rebooking my order, I did not have to do that. I didn't receive any emails about getting free stuff because of the long wait like some of you guys did as well.
