Please help. Is this related to gpu or display?
I tried connecting the display to ipad via bluetooth and it had the same issues on ipad's screen. So I think it is a gpu related problem. Can anyone help me identify the problem? [IMG] [IMG]

Roll back gpu drivers. If that doesnt work, send in the laptop for a replacement screen.

Also, what Lenovo laptop do you have exactly? Lenovo has quite a lot of models :p

Actually I just got it back from a 30 day long lenovo repair. It fixed nothing. It's right there after the start up. I don't think lenovo repair tech checked the laptop after the "repair" sigh

Mind spending 10 minutes of your time?

Uninstall both drivers, then reinstall them both (do a fresh download off the sites to prevent corrupt download) and report back here if the issues persist.

You running 750M SLI or Single?

You could try one-key recovery. If I remember correctly, all you do is press the novo button on the side next to the power plug when the laptop is off. After that just follow through the steps and it will restore the laptop to factory settings.
If that doesn't work, it's probably a hardware issue.

That is GPU issue, I am 99% sure of it from my experience.

Motherboard replacement is the only solution. Time to contact Lenovo.

The one that came with the laptop. No ultrabay installations selected at the time of purchase

Lol they replaced the motherboard already. The laptop came back to me exact same condition as when I shipped it. CS:Go runs pretty well. I am so confused because if gpu was ****ed up, the game shouldn't be running smoothly.

I already tried the windows 8 factory reset. Is the one key recovery different?

It worked fine for almost two weeks. One thing I haven't yet mentioned is that I was playing skyrim and CS:GO day and night

Hmmm. Try using the stock drivers that are on Lenovo.com?

I guess sending it back to Lenovo would be the best thing to do after trying all sorts of things already.

I have a question. Why are the icons displaying perfectly fine when the display is all jacked up? Are icons not using gpu?

    Can you try something?.

See if you can open Nvidia Control Panel, then go to 3D settings, then select preferred GPU:
Try all 3 options and press apply see if anything works.
