    My lenovo y410p ultrabay won't lock into place.

    Meaning I can pull out the ultrabay without taking out the battery or holding the latch in the back....

    What about the lock hidden underneath the battery? If all else fails, there is always the hammer. :laugh:

    that lock under the battery gets closed when the battery is inserted back in, so it can't be that. most likely a piece of plastic broke :(

    I guess you could try duct tape. :D

    On a more serious note, if it's a piece of plastic that broke off, there isn't much you can do to completely fix the problem other then buy a new piece or 3d printing one.
