My new T60p has WWAN antenna, can I remove/return?

I ordered T60p 14.1" 4:3 from Lenovo education portal over the weekend with following configuration and there was no option for the WWAN so I didn't think it would have the silly antenna on side. I received custom order today from Hong Kong and it has the WWAN antenna on the right side of screen!

I did break seal of box but did not break seal red sticker seal of baggie housing the ThinkPad. So, can I return for full refund to Lenovo or if I keep can I remove this antenna in its entirety so that it will look like it was never there? Ugh, what a predicament. I scanned over the invoice and order form over and over to be sure there was no mention of WWAN . I guess they included the antenna as a free bonus. Lucky me eh?

Come on people, help a brother out.

I have a T60 14.1" 4:3 without WWAN antenna. So could I could I switch the T60p WWAN antenna for the bezel in the T60 without complication?

 

Call Lenovo and explain what happened to them. They might be able to send you the filler for the antenna spot. However I don't think it's a user replaceable thing because you have to go pretty deep in disassembly to remove it.

 

there is no way they can charge you a restocking fee if you were misled.
