I ordered a T500 on 8/10 from Lenovo website. I have ordered some accessories also.
After a 10 days, they told me that one of the accessory is back order. I asked how long I would wait. A few days later, they told me they would not get that model anymore, and suggested me cancel that.
And on 9/10, they sent me another email, telling me that they would no longer sell one of the part number I ordered. I went back to Lenovo website and found that the whole order disappear. I digged out my old email and found that the part number was actually a carrying case.
I don't know why it would take them one full month to figure out something was not available.
Now a day, everything is on computer(do they know ERP/MRP?), they shall know what are selling availalbe when they sell them on their website. How can they let this happen again and again.
Even worse, when I replied their email, it seemed that they never receive it, and resent the same email to me after a few days. I call the phone number they left in the email, the lady told that it was the Lenovo internal IT help desk, and she didn't know what number was for customer. (You can try this: 866 439 8335). I finally found their customer service number by Google.
Isn't Lenovo an IT company? Is Lenovo doing business in US market?

"Isn't Lenovo an IT company?"
Since Lenovo sells computers, it would be difficult for them NOT to be an IT company.
