    Hi there,

I am an owner of my first notebook Lenovo and I've got a question concerning battery usage while on AC power. Does battery consumption grow when it is connected to the AC power?? Most of you will treat it as a noobistic question, but I'm new in town so please be tolerant :)

The battery charges while you are on AC power. It charges at a slower rate. One the battery hits 100% it stops charging.

Once the battery reaches full charge it has no reason to draw anymore power. It will, however be exposed to the heat emitting from the rest of the laptop, which could shorten it's lifespan.

    That's what I meant,

So from some point of view it is better to unplug the battery while beeing on AC power.
