    Hello all.

My N500 makes a loud beep sound when I pull the power cord out, to run on battery ?

Am I suppose to shut down my computer before I go to battery power ? That would not make a lot of sense, but the beep is a pretty loud beep and for some reason makes me feel its bad for the lap

    Thanks in advance

I know on ThinkPads you can turn it off in the BIOS. I did on mine.

You can also turn off in the Lenovo power manager under advanced options. I was able to with my X200.
