    Just noticed that Lenovo issued a new BIOS update for all X61(s) machines - BIOS version 2.14 with a number of fixes ... including addressing the IEEE1394 and cardbus slowdowns.

    Anyone try this version yet?

    I never understand the rush to update things when your not having any problems. I'm still running the BIOS my R60 came with.
