I was looking around the Danish Lenovo web site that was displaying the X61 Tablet and I found some PDF documents with some interesting information, published May 22nd:

    Literature> ThinkPad> ThinkPad X Series Tablet

If you open the IL PPG Standard Products 06.07 you can see the different model designations & part numbers for the X61 Tablet and the specs of each one. There is similar data for the X61 and X61s.

Interesting tidbit from the document IE PPG Standard 06.07 : The X60 Tablet is listed as having 7.5 hrs battery life with the 8-cell, but the X61 Tablet only gets 7.0 hours. There are similar reductions with the X61 / X61s.

According to the same document, neither the X61 / X61s nor the X61 Tablet will have an infrared port as an option.
