I have found out more about the W7TABLP bundle.

    KIT W7TABLP

    18666TU X41 TABLET PENT M LV 758 (1.5) 12 WAXGA 512 60GB
    22P8871 ONENOTE 2003 View Notes
    30R4959 THINKPAD X41 TABLET SLEEVE

The 18666TU asking price was $2499. It does not have FingerReader but does have 8-cell battery. Now Lenovo bundles them up together and calls it W7TABLP.

My estimate ship date is July 25. Lenovo usually ships out before the estimate date; therefore, I will probably get it within 2 weeks as stated on the web site.

Edit: I has been informed by someone, who called Lenovo to place the order for the Bundle, that the tablet is loaded. It has FingerPrint Reader. This bundle price beats any previous tablet offered by Lenovo.

    Wholesomer:

I have ordered for W7TABLP under EPP discount, but I was quoted a price of $1899. They said all tablets have less discount than the regular Thinkpads.

Can you please forward me your quote.

I will suggest that you buy X4 Dock with CD/DVD for $200 (EPP Price)

    Thanks for your help

Wholsomer, after reading about the great price for Employees + friends & family, I called to confirm it. The salesman told me that the price was $1,899. Do you know if there are different levels of discounts available? Thanks a lot.

Hm, other IBM authorized merchants are selling for ~$100 cheaper on E-Bay.

Do you mind sharing your information? If I were you, I will buy them all (if they are instock and legitimate) and become a millionaire for selling them back. Nobody has been able to find a better deal than the EPP bundle deal for $1574.25. The tablets are still in short supply. Anybody, who will believe that you can get the bundle deal for less and available now please let me know, I have a bridge for sale.

brooksl , check out tabletpcbuzz.com. A lot of information has been posted there.

Which ones are the authorized merchants?
