Does anyone have problems with NOD32 and there Lenovo laptops. I have tried Kaspersky but it detected Lenovo Sofware as malware/otherstuff so I deleted it. Any issues with NOD32 and does it slow down your computer a lot.

No. I'm using it on an X300 (Vista Business), a T61p (XP), an X61t (Vista Premium) and a 3000 N100 (Vista Home Premium) and some Toshiba thing that my niece bought. It just runs quietly in the background. Can't even tell it's there.

Of course, as with all things, YMMV.

Is it really good at what it does also? Do a lot of popups show up from it for malicious codes and programs it thinks are not good or something?

Popups for suspected malicious software isn't necessarily bad...you just need to make exceptions, etc. But nod32 is the best heuristic AV there is.

Does NOD32 make those popups? How often are they?

ESET NOD32 Antivirus consistently proves itself to be the best antivirus software, clearly ranking higher in detection, size and speed when compared to its competitors.

I am worried because I have all my software installed and I already have an antivirus installed. If I uninstall the antivirus will it install well and what should I do to prepare? Does NOD32 work well with Lenovo software?

Uninstalling previous antivirus won't be a problem... Neither will installing NOD32. If it detects the Lenovo software as malware simply add it to the exception list.

As with any AV/spyware/firewall you WILL need to define exceptions early on. But after you put in the work then it is worth it. I personally only run an AV to scan specific files I download.
