After a month of researching a new laptop, I'm leaning towards the following configuration but would like comments from more tenured members of this forum:
IBM/Lenovo T43 Model 2668BJU (open bay configuration)
2.0Ghz. Pentium M 760
15" SXGA+ IPS TFT w/ Flexview
1GB PC4200 DDR2 SDRAM (1 DIMM)
64MB ATI Radeon x300
80GB 7200RPM Hard Disk
4X DVD Multiburner
IBM 11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Adapter II
9-Cell Battery
Fingerprint Reader
Windows XP Professional
Bluetooth upgradeable
4-year Thinkplus Onsite Warranty
Price: ~$1800 + tax and shipping direct from IBM/Lenovo
This looks like a good deal. Am I missing something? As this is a CTO machine, is there anything else I should be looking at here (I'll add an extra gig of ram when I receive the machine)? If I add a bluetooth modem after I receive the machine, will I risk voiding my warranty (I'd get it from the factory, but it's not listed as an option on the configuration page)? Will this configuration be good for a few years to come for most things?
Other comments or opinions appreciated. Thanks for any and all help.

yeah ur missing a bluetooth.

It might be possible to add bluetooth. I would only get it if you plan to use it. Other than that looks like a nice machine.

this is a gooood deal, compared to prices in China.

Ok. Thanks for the input guys. Looks like I'll order it later tonight.
Any idea how long it will take to get here? -
CTOs take longer.
