    Need Advice: size of type on T41 - T42

    I've just received Dell i6000,WSXGA 15.4 widescreen, but will likely be returning it due to VERY SMALL type even after making adjustments recommended in the Dell discussion forum on this site.

    Want to AVOID the same problem if I go with IBM -- so any advice on the T41 and T42 would be most welcome. Need some info on the differences between the two, and what configurations to get for normal size type.

    Main use - 6-8 hours per day -- is word processing, desktop publishing, web design, photo use, internet news browsing and ebay. Gaming NOT important for me.

    The two IBM models are offered through my alma mater at $1500-1700 -- good prices?
