    Hi

I have a laptop w/ the following specs:

    P7350 2GHZ Core 2 Duo
    Vista Home 32bit
    2MB Memory

I would like to see an increase in performance (even though slight) with an memory upgrade, should I upgrade to a 3MBor 4MB, from my understanding I would need a 64bit operating system to fully utilize 4MB of memory, please advise.

    Thanks!

You're correct you'll need a 64 bit OS be it Windows or Linux to see more than 3GB of memory.

Will upgrading it to 3MB make a noticeable difference?

Unless you've got a specific need I doubt it.

Depending on what you do the extra 1GB might actually be useful and a really cheap upgrade anyways (although definitely nothing groundbreaking)

What are you hoping to see performance increases on when you use your laptop?
