I just did a clean install on my new T61. It has Vista Home Premium on it. It has the Intel 4965 Wireless adapter and Turbo memory. After the clean install there are 3 things missing. The program that finds WiFi's. The turbo doesn't seem to work even with the turbo driver installed and the three button mouse pad thing doesn't work. The two buttons and finger pad work OK. What drivers am I missing? Can anyone get me the links I need for each problem?
    Thanks,
    DrPalm

Did you follow the clean install guide? It doesn't sound like you did. The order of installation of drivers is important. I'd look up the guide Stallen put together that is in the sticky at the top of the forum.

Oh heck here is the link -- look at Step 2.

I suspect you didn't install the Intel chipset drivers...

If that wasn't it let me know. I'll see what I figure out.

Actually I followed Stallen's guide to a T. I'm using Vista Home Premium. I seem to have the turbo memory running. The only issue left is the 3 buttons above the touch pad. The pad works and the 2 buttons below the pad work. Which driver runs those 3 buttons? I'll reinstall it. That guide worked like a charm except for this. My T61 is now running like a new Notebook should. They should be shot at the factory for sending them out the way they do. There almost worthless out of the box. I can't seem to find the link to making the blue button do something else now that the Thinkvantage is gone. Do you have it? The link that is.
    Thanks,
    DrPalm

Did you install the UltraNav Drivers and Driver Utility? Should be here : http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-67853#Mouse

Select the appropriate one for your operating system.

Here's the link to reassign the blue button: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=171644
