Posted this in the deals section but it hasn't generated any discussion.

    1. What do you think of this laptop overall?

    2. What do you think of this price for this laptop? If this is a good deal (and the laptop is decent) then I think I am going to jump on it...

Bing cashback is 3-5%, so might be closer to $403-416

No need to bump your thread twice in the space of four hours.

If this laptop meets your needs, then it's a pretty good deal. The CPU isn't fantastic, but it should work well for basic word processing, internet browsing, multimedia, etc. Still, for about $400, which is in the netbook price range, this U450 is a good choice.

There is when the deal might not last long.

    Thanks for your opinion, btw.

I think it's a pretty good deal. I probably would buy it if I didn't just purchase an Acer 1410 a week ago. I'm seriously considering returning it to get this, but I still would like to know the "real" battery life on this. Unfortunately there are very few reviews of this model.

Maybe that's why I am having some difficulty finding information on this unit.

Yeah, the more I researched the laptop, the more I think this is a solid deal and a great price since the same laptop goes for at least $600+ usually. At $415 it's a very good value if it suits your needs.

Just keep in the mind the return policy for onSale does not cover return shipping costs if you want to return it (I don't know if that is the same for defective items or not). As for me, I'm probably going to pass since I'd have to pay shipping and go through the hassle of returning my Acer to get this.
