Ok, I'm getting really fed up with the Intel mini pci wireless cards. Does anyone know a good mini pci wireless replacement for the T61s?

I keep waiting for the day when laptop architectures come up to the level of standardization that desktop architectures have come to. I'm guessing it's not going to happen like it does in my dreams...

Anyway, there's always the Lenovo wireless card made by Atheros. You'd have to consult the hardware service manual for your exact model number to figure out which one you need, but I suspect you could find the part out in the intarweb in the $40 range.
