I have a Lenovo 3000 N100, with an AC adapter - 65watt 20v. It states that it has input of 110-240 volts.
I am traveling to Indonesia, I currently have the plug adapters. What I need to know is do recommend using the voltage converter? I believe there standard plugs there are 220v. I was also thinking of getting a small surge protector.

    thank for any suggestions. JK

A 110-240v power supply should be fine. No need for a voltage converter -- just an appropriate plug adapter (I forget which one works there). I've used the AC rechargers in my PDA and cameras through Europe and the UK, which also run 220v, without a problem.

I have travelled to every continent (bar Antartica :)) numerous times with a regular laptop AC adapter and never run into a problem as long as I had my plug adapter handy! You will not need a surge protector either, but if you desire, you can carry one...just adds weight, IMHO.
