I need some assistance from Thinkpad users (specifically R61i users). I would like you to see if after pressing the combinations below whether you see the letter. For example, holding up + left and then pressing z, should net you the letter z. If the key doesn't show up after holding the directional keys, please say so. Use Notepad for simplicity. Order of directional keys is not important.

    (up + left, z) (up + left, x) (up + left, c) (down + left, z) (down + left, x) (down + left, c)
...and so on with down + right, up + right, etc

A final test I would like to conduct would be to type out qwerty and see what results. Hold q, then w, then e, and so on up to y and see which keys are omitted. My keyboard will not accept anything past w, resulting in qqqqwwwww(w...)

Thanks in advance! It would be helpful if I can get results from the three different keyboards (Chicony, NMB, Alps).

yea, what are you trying to do?

I did this on T61 which uses the same keyboard as the R61. Anyway, they all work with the directional keys and with holding down q.
