    I am not a fan of Mat****a drives. I have the UJ-850 on my R60. It on occasion fails or takes 20 minutes to write a CD though I use very high quality TY discs. You can buy a case here and stick in any drive you want. I used the same case with my T42 since T42 dvd burners were so expensive. I personally have had better luck with NEC drives.
