I just got my Lenovo Y570 (20091) 2 days ago and need to partition it.
    C drive has 654GB.

I need C drive to be ~154GB and another drive of size 500GB.

I can only shrink it this much.

    What do I do?
Clean Install? If so then how do I go about it?

I'm not entirely clear what you want to change, but...

Get yourself a partition manager, like the free EaseUS Partition Master

From there, it's pretty self explanatory

Well I want to shrink C drive to 100GB and make another drive with 500GB space.
I checked lenovo forums and they said that if you partition/shrink C drive, One Key Restore won't work anymore. Is this true?
Also I didn't receive any CD/DVDs with the laptop so if I want to reinstall Win7 what do I do?

When I tried to change those partitions by deleting and converging some, I ran into serious problems and ended up doing a fresh install. I had an opportunity to install Windows 7 Professional provided by my university free of charge. Can't say I'm not happy about it though, since I got rid of all of the software I wouldn't ever use. I think there must be a way to make a recovery DVD from your windows installation. Try to contact Lenovo Tech Support for better advice.

Ok. It's just so pissing of that Lenovo put majority of the space into one drive. If something happens to C drive and if I have to use recovery(worst case), all my data(movies, games, pics, etc) on that drive will be lost right?

It will only be lost if you format the drive or seriously screw something up. You should be able to revert to an older state if you have the restore points. If you succeed i reverting to an older restore point, then none of the data will be lost. I'd still make a backup of any important information though. Also a word of advice, if you plan to do a clean installation download all the of the relevant drivers from Lenovo website beforehand and put them on a flash drive or CD.

Will OKR work if I do a clean install? Does it still work for you after you did a clean install?
Lenovo provides a separate drive(D drive for me) in which all the drivers and software setups are available hence I don't think I need to download the drivers again.
I just need my laptop to be like my desktop i.e. C drive with 100GB and D drive(where I store all my data) with 550GB. So if anything happens I'd only have to format C drive and reinstall windows if necessary.

One Key recovery is just a software program. If you install it, it should work. Just like if you install One Key Theatre or anything else. I'm not sure if that program will force you to create another partition to run properly. I chose not to reinstall it.
