This is in regards to a T400.

Past day or two the buttons below the trackpad, well the left click to be precise, has started to stay depressed. Its not a sharp click like the right click.

My question is whether ordering a replacement palm rest part, which i believe is FRU 45N6137, is enough to get new buttons as well. Meaning, are they part of the palm rest or would i just get the case without the trackpad, buttons, and circuitry?

Additionally, if there's an easy way to fix this myself, please let me know. Perhaps a small spring or piece of foam needs replacing.

    Thanks

yes the new palmrest will get you the new touchpad.

It is not very easy to remove the touchpad click keys.
