This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Need help with fingerprint reader software

    :confused: I have a new R61i with the fingerprint reader and I need help with the software. Are there any experts on the forum? Can you directly input passwords into the file? It appers that the reader password software will not recognize a site with Outlook web access requiring passwords. The Lenovo password software appears to be a poor second to the Microsoft fingerprint reader software or at least is much more difficult to manage.
