now i have a few questions.
1) Can i get fw cashback by this method?
2) If i use paypal payment wif my amex, does it extend the warranty by another year?
And because i am buying for my friend in Australia, does the amex extended warranty valid international?
3)Should i be waiting the new X series or a better coupon than USP1PAYPAL?
will greatly appreciate if someone can give me advice.
thanks.

That's a sweet setup for that price! I paid 1700 for an L7500.
1)I don't think so.
2)No, otherwise people would pay 1$ using the amex and something else for the rest.
3)That's a great deal, I don't think a new X6x would be worth the wait. Heck, I'd even by an X60s if it was cheaper.
One more suggestion. If you're going with the X61s because of a better screen that consumes less battery, I would strongly suggest an 8cell battery and Win XPP. Otherwise, just get an X61 with a better processor and a better price.
Good Luck! -
for that setup the price is very good

I got FW cashback on my x61s, approved and ready for deposit in early March (you don't get it right away)
I got 25% off thru website holiday sale, plus used a 20% coupon, PLUS the FW cash. I feel I got a killer deal

I heard that Penryn processors will be released on X61.
will it be true by any chances? -
Im wondering about the AMEX as well, I purchased mine through PP to get the $100 Cash back (Which Lenovo/PayPal has not given me) but when using PP it charged my AMEX. I would imagine if I had a problem they would cover it, so what if I purchased through PP it was also purchased through AMEX? But yea they will probably figure a way to not cover it, since thats what all companies do these days.
I have almost the same setup only I dont have the fingerprint reader, or the 160GB Hard drive (Since the Hitachi external 7200 RPM 200GB drives go on sale at best buy for $134) I figured I would pick one of those up next sale and thoss the stock 80Gb in the external enclosure and save a few bucks and get more storage space, but that is up to you. My total will be only $950 something (well sub $1000 lets say) shipped if I get me e-coupons CashBack and PP cash back.
Need help withe the purchase of X61s!
