Ordered a IdeaPad Y580 Laptop on 14/08/12 from lenova Canada's website and had a problem because of my amazon order which blocked both orders.
After settling everything with visa , they unblocked my account and told me you had to re-order everything again.
I re-ordered another Y580 on 16/08/12 and its due 24/08/12 and says it processed , now and then I check the order status the first one says its blocked. I check today and the first one is unblocked which is a problem.
I'm going to call the support number tomorrow and before doing that I was wondering if you guys could help me ? And btw the first one say that its shipment date is 30/08/12.

How are we supposed to help you with this issue that only Lenovo customer service can solve? That said I recommend you do not order direct from lenovo.. unless you can't find the exact configuration elsewhere. I got my y580 from costco online store and it was at my door within 3 days.
You need to be really firm with Lenovo customer service because they tend to try and brush you off (depending on who you talk to) and at times have difficulty speaking English. Do not hang up until you are 100% sure they have answered your question and understand the problem. -
yeah didn't know that , I wonder if they will return the first one ..
