    Need replacement keyboard for Lenovo G575 series.

    My mother spilled coffee on my sister's laptop. I could go on a rant here about how this is the hundredth electronic device she's ruined and the second Christmas present she's ruined... but I won't.

    I've modified disassembled my own laptops and so I am somewhat comfortable with taking this thing apart and replacing the keyboard, but if anyone has some suggestions for me as to where to look for parts and how much to spend, I'd really appreciate it.

    Also, does anyone have any pictures or step-by-step guides for taking this model apart? Whenever I have taken my laptop apart I've had references to look at.

    Hi, download the service manual here as it has instructions and a service parts list for your specific Lenovo model.

    The part numbers for the (US English) keyboard of the G575 are either:

    Chicony - 25012186
    Dafon - 25012184
    Sunrex - 25012185
