    Hi,

Been looking to buy a T500 for a few weeks now but due to missing a sale and waiting for another one or a coupon I have not had much luck.

However, I seen a 10% off coupon appear although it doesn't seem to work. There is a 5% off everything which does so I am wondering if it is just a wrong code.

Would it be possible for someone to check if it works or to see if it is definitely not working.

    Code would be AFFT400T50010PC.

Is this a common occurance, coupons not working on lenovo's site?

I suppose no one knows why it wouldn't work then, hmm.

I may just have to stretch my budget a little then and just take the 5% off or risk waiting longer which I don't really want to do.

I don't know much about the UK site since I am in the US. But from my expreince I have had many codes NOT work. Not sure if it is because they were expired or not. You do know that there are sites out there that have various codes right? Just google "Lenovo coupon codes". An example would be this one but that it for the US. Not sure what works for the UK?

Also when you find a config and price you like you can create a quote to lock it in and save it for 30 days. You can do this on the US site and I think you can also do this on the UK site. Just something to keep in mind..

Ye, I have been keeping any eye out for any codes, but I might just have to pay slightly more than I was looking for.

Wish I had known about the save quote thing, that would have come in useful.

Just thought I would respond once more to this thread to say that the code is now working.

It must only be a weekend deal but for some reason showed up early.

Just in case anyone in the uk is thinking of buying a T400/500, 10% off this weekend.

Think I am going to grab this while I can and hope nothing better pops up.
