I am experiencing frustation with my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro.
If I have a long conversation in Skype, more than 2 hours, the network card stops working correctly at some point. A restart is required to go back to normal![]()
The same thing happens if I use the Yoga 2 Pro for a long time, e.g., 12 hours.
The network does not shut down completely, it just become unstable, impossible for Skype to keep connected (not to keep a call, just to keep connected to the server) or for Spotify to continue playing music without big interruptions. Websites load only 1 of 10 times I try.
Is this a known issue with the wi-fi card? Or do I have a defective device? If I have a defective one, how can I make valid the warranty? I will need to use the computer for ling time before the issue reproduces.
I have the latest driver, Kona Intel Wireless Driver for Windows 8.1 (64-bit) version 16.5.3.6 as describe in Lenovo website: Lenovo Support - Drivers & Software (US)
Thanks.

This is a known issue with the Yoga 2 Pro and there is a HUGE thread regarding this issue here:
Re: Yoga 2 Pro Wifi Problems - Lenovo Community
You could try to download the latest Wifi dual band 7260N drivers from Intel and see if it helps at all. The version there is 16.10.0. The download link is:
