    Hey guys, I have a T400.
If I order a Intel 6300 or 6200, will it accept it, or will it not boot? (I remember thinkpads not allowing 3rd party cards to be installeD)

and are the mini pci-e cards CRUs?

You need to get a card that is whitelisted (i.e. ThinkPad branded). Additionally, the 5300 is the appropriate upgrade card for the T400. Why would you want to try a 6200/6300?

Yes, the mini pci-e cards are (optional) CRUs and replacing them will NOT void your warranty (although the new WLAN card will not be covered by Lenovo).

I have a 5100, I've heard people say they have a more stable connection with 5300 than a 5100. So, I was thinking of either getting the 5300 or 6200. Since 6300 has 3 antennaes.
