This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     tried it and it informed me that I did not need a firmware update.

    Oh. Ok. Well I posted this update as I saw it as the newest update - may be available for some, not necessary for others. Good to know the setup program tells you if you need it or not.

    Just got my laptop last week and it still has the RB01 firmware while the readme makes it seem like this has been out for awhile. (could be why I'm limited to 4x on 8x media)
