I plan to completely wipe the laptop and reinstall windows from an original disc and was wondering if anybody thought it wasn't worth the effort.

Are there any vital Lenovo installed programs that come shipped with it?

The battery manager etc can all be done through Windows so it didn't seem like anything was too important.

I'll have to download some drivers from their site I assume.

Anyways.. I just like having a fresh, clean machine instead of something loaded down with their programs plus I don't care to have those backup partitions etc
