I just did a clean install and don't want to do that again its a pain. So right now my T61 14inch has a 100gb 7200 rpm hdd. If I upgrade to a 7200 320gb can I just use complete restore feature and copy it to the new HDD? This wau I can avoid the whole re-install ACTIVATION thing.

I also have BitLocker will it still work?

The other drives I am interested is a Solid State or a 10,000 RPM drive.

    Thanks

A 10K rpm drive is not compatible in a T61.
