There's a new Core 2 Duo Low Voltage CPU now for the ThinkPad X61s.

    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo L7500 LV (1.6GHz, 4MB L2, 800MHz FSB)
    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo L7700 LV (1.8GHz, 4MB L2, 800MHz FSB)

There seems to be a glitch on the price though; it won't show a price increase when upgrading to the L7700.
