    Hello all,

Lenovo is currently offering an additional 10% discount called "Buy more, save more" savings for all ThinkPad T series (T400, T500, T61) notebooks, which is also valid for CPP purchases. The discount is automatically applied when you add any ThinkPad T series notebook to your shopping cart.

Now, before tax prices (free ship) for the default configurations after the CPP & 10% discounts are:

    T400 (Integrated): $739.49 - $73.93 = $665.56
    T400 (Discrete): $803.24 - $80.31 = $722.93
    T500 (Integrated): $757.98 - $75.78 = $682.20
    T500 (Discrete): $1112.65 - $111.25 = $1001.40
    T61: $759.71 - $75.93 = $683.78

    Enjoy! :D

EDIT: It seems the deal is officially dead. I find it very weird that Lenovo updated the website right after I posted this. Anyhow, here's what the shopping cart should have looked like:

do they price match? they still havent shipped mine but i'd like the new price.

i wonder if they'll change the price if i call them...

anyway, theyre closed now but i'm calling them first thing tomorrow. i either want the discounted price or i want them to bump me up to the T9600 because this discount sort of offsets the premium for that.

Wow. What a deal. Now another reason not to buy a competitor’s product.

You do have price protection for 21 days after your order. You should be ok since you're under 3 weeks.

Hopefully another deal comes around when Wimax and Intel Anti Theft is out. Supposedly Intel Anti Theft will include the GPS chip so I may not need to add the AT&T card to add the GPS capability.

    I want a loaded notebook. :)

anyone have any indication when WiMax and/or Intel Anti Theft is supposed to be as an available option (I am actually looking at the x301 or X200s)? all I hear is Q4, which doesnt mean too much.

I personally haven't heard any hard dates from anyone on exactly when these options will be release. I'm sure Lenovo will have it available when they get their first shipment.
