The T9600 is showing up as an option on the W500, subtract $275 compared to the T9400!

Think there's any chance that I could switch to the t9600 without having to cancel (ie losing my coupons that I used)?

this is astounding if its not an error. this would make a maxed out w500 more powerful and cheaper than the maxed out, heavily discounted t61p i ordered last night. even so, the one day coupon will definitely make me cancel and reorder the newer gen system.

It has to be an error, on the Canadian site its reversed, the T9600 is more then T9400, and the price the T9400 in the States is the price of the T9600 in Canada.

I think the chances of anyone getting one is small if any. Maybe if it was Amazon and you overnighted it, but there's still plenty of time to catch the error.

So starting price is now $1629 for the W500. That is basically the starting price we saw in the earlier spec sheets.
