    New Sales after July 4th Ends?

    I've been wanting so badly to purchase a Thinkpad but I've missed the boat on the whole EPP, USXIBMSPPTRIPLE, etc. I'm hoping that after this sucky July 5th sale that ends on the 9th, there will be a better one. Does anybody have any info on it? I'm not sure if they would initiate a new sale right after the july 4th sale ends, but I'm hopeful.

    I agree. The current sales isn't very good. I'll be purchasing a Thinkpad as well and I hope there will be something better after the 9th.

    Me too probably. Kinda waiting for the new generation to get fully spec'd though....the R61 15.4, consumer grade GPUs, etc.

    The back-to-school sale is usually the best sale of the year.

    I dunno but maybe not now because of the backorders.

    Anyway, the T61 is cheap already. Of course it's build is dubious but the price is significantly lower than the previous model. But you get what you pay for, lol.
