So I just ordered a 1400x1050 screen for my T60. It presently has a 1024x768 which I've found to be a little claustrophobic, even though I do enjoy the large print.

Unfortunately, I've only got 64MB of video memory so I hope the increased desktop space won't decrease performance too much. I use to have a T61p with a 1400x1050 and it ran beautifully, but of course it had the quadro FX570.

Has anyone else done this swap or something similar? What did you notice about video performance changes?

BTW, it's the full screen assembly so the swap should be very easy.

there is no noticeable decrease in performance when you do the screen swap.
