Been doing some searching and unfortunately can't seem to find anything. I suspect it is out there, so I apologize if I have missed it.

Anyway, just got my new T430s. Is there any point to do a clean install of Windows 8? And more importantly, if so, is there a guide here to help me do this? I used a Windows 7 guide on the old laptop and it was very helpful.

    Other quick thoughts....
The AC adapter seems very large & heavy. Is this normal? It is much bigger than my old T61.
Screen, as I worried about, is pretty mediocre. Seems brighter than the T61, but grainier also. I can see some screen door effect. Kinda bugs me. Looks like I ended up with AUO. Worst one, eh? Bummer. Hoping I'll get used to it. But I had hoped that ther would be a pleasant surprise improvement 5 years newer laptop vs the T61....no luck.

    Appreciate it.
