So I was chatting with a lenovo rep online yesterday to ask him about sandy bridge. He said we have no plans on upgrading the processor on these two series for at least the next year.
Is this true or did I happen to get assigned to an idiot?

Probably uninformed rep and not an idiot just because his chiefs have not informed or educated him :D

    X2.

There is been some evidence of a T420s floating around here somewhere. Even on the Thinkpad Fourms there has been some new info. on this new system as well. (Just a Lenovo employee going over some VERY basic spec.s about the T420s.).

There is definitely another W/T/X series coming down the pike at some point this year though.

LOL NEVER listen to those reps, they don't know their products. Sad but true IME, Embarrassingly true. NBRF knows infinity more. DL manual and check specs yourself if interested in buying. Yes they will have SB. What's not to like cheaper, cooler, less power, less noise. Plus they would be left behind as everyone else goes SB.
