Just received yesterday. It came withe some screws. Any idea what they are for?

Besides updating via thinkvantage, downloading AVG, and burning the system to DVD (once I get some DVD's), any thing else I am missing?

Not much bloatware I can see so I doubt I will do a clean install.

I did notice that the right side of the screen was not properly popped together. A slight pinch corrected that. Other than that it seems to work fine except that when going into sleep mode I have to push the on button to awake it. Might be due to the need to activate the fingerprint scan for security although it seems someone stated it was an issue. Will see once the update is finished to see if it is corrected via updates.

From the manual, it seems that the screws used in the T500 are nylon-coated, and for best fit, they should be replaced by new screws if they are removed. So, they probably provided extra screws in case you open your laptop to add RAM or something else.

I think you can change what devices can wake your computer from Sleep in the Device Manager. Not positive though.
