New T61 on the way

Hi All,

My T61 is in Louisville, KY right now with the status of: THE SHIPMENT IS BEING HELD BY BROKERAGE FOR REASONS BEYOND UPS' CONTROL

Anyway, in anticipation, I decided to look up the parts on the laptop using the serial number and found these:

42T0426 42T0427 14.1 INCH LCD DISPLAY FRU

I think that display is an LG, can someone confirm? I couldn't really find a good source from google. LG is the preferred one, right?

Now this concerns me slightly...I ordered the 8x DVD recorder, but the parts listing says that it has 42T2506 39T2851 RAMBO-VI CD-RW/DVD DRIVE FRU. I think that is the CDRW/DVD combo drive. Is that just mislabled or do you think Lenovo screwed up on that? If they did mistakenly put the combo drive instead of the DVD burner, do you think they would be willing to just mail me the right part?

Hey my new T61p 15.4" is in Ontario CA and says the same thing on UPS everyone told me that it is just customs.

 

yep it's an LG. i have the same and it's more than good.
