3 Year Depot Upgrade with 3 Year ThinkPad Protection

I'm going to college next year and I wanted something that is powerful and portable. The total price comes out to 1353 with employee pricing. Is it a good deal? Should I add something or is their something that i don't need.
    Thanks!

You really don't need T9300 unless you'll be doing crazy calculations on MATLAB or a lot of video encoding; a T8100 is fine for most people.

Depending on how much of a gamer you are, I would suggest upgrading to a FX570 graphics card (aka a T61p).

The Intel Turbo Memory is still not proven to be worth the money, I'd rather put that money in a larger HDD.

The rest looks fine, and the price may drop after my aformentioned advices, if you choose to follow them.

I don't plan on doing serious gaming or calculations but I do want to make it so it lasts a while. I'll look into the Turbo memory. What type of games will the 140M play?

Well, what kind of games are you into?

It won't run Crysis and the like for sure.
Counter Strike and similar games will run fine on it. (Not sure bout source. should be fine too)
Starcraft 2 will probably run fine on low-mid.
