Just a heads up for you X-Series owners.

    Version 7NETA6WW (2.06)

    * (New) Added the new error code 1830 to indicate that a single DIMM is not installed in the memory slot 0. Solution for the error code: With a single DIMM, install the DIMM into the memory slot 0 (a slot different from having used it). (BIOS)
    * (Fix) Unexpected interrupts from the USB controller may occur. (BIOS)
    * (Fix) When a certain HDD User Password is set, re-boot may fail. (BIOS)

I'm using it right now and haven't found any problems yet. I'm one of those people who will update to the latest BIOS as soon as it comes out.

BIOS updates are generally optional. If you're not experiencing any problems right now, then you won't have to update.

figured as much...cant figure out how to do this part.
Remove the Power-on password prior to updating the BIOS in RDM (Remote Deployment Manager) environment or similar environment.

If I wasn't having any problems with the current bios or unless the new bios had features I really wanted, I wouldn't risk "upgrading". It's easy to brick your machine unless there's some backup/restore mechanism.

Yes, I've bricked a desktop mobo before :p
